The Journey Continues.....

Day 3

We woke up at around 6 plus again and set of to Taroko Gorge in the morning.. Pass Troko Gate to marvellous geological features in Swallow Caves. It's really very nice..Took some pictures on the bus.. We couldnt get down the bus at some places as there's an earthquake occurs early in the morning.. The tour guide was afraid that some big stones high above the mountains might drop down anytime and hit us.. Thus, everyone of us remains in the bus..


It's abit blur cos I took the pictures while the bus is still moving..

Nice scenary isn't it? hehe..

Btw, I bought this Tweety Bird 'Mai ya tang' at Chiufen.. Taste very sweet..

Thereafter, we went to have our lunch.. Before we had our lunch, we went to a factory that manufacture stones.. Of cos they would want us to buy the jewellery that made from the stones larz..

Big machines that cut the stones..

Din buy anything but took pictures of my own.. Haha..

By the way, the lunch is horrible!!! Then, enjoy a scenic drive along the East Coast Scenic Highway to Taitung. Stop at the Caves of the Eight Immortals, which has the archaeological edvidence from the Palaeolithic period. There are a total of 8 holes on the mountains..

Continue the journey to the Terrace of the Three Immortals, known as Sanshiantai, to view nature's work in sea-eroded potholes and caves, and rare coastal vegetation.

Look at the nice sea view.. This is the Pacific Ocean and the sea got 2 colours..

It's cold there as well..

That's the 3 Immortal Stones..

Before we reached Taitung, we stopped at a fascinating irrigation channel where water appears to flow uphill.. Amazing!

It's really flowing upwards.. !!


Then, we went to have our dinner.. Went back to hotel at Taitung.. Taitung has natural hot spring.. It can even cook the food!


See! The food really cooked!

There's also hot spring in our hotel rooms as well.. You can get the hot steaming water once you turn on the tap in your bathtubs.. I enjoyed it but it's really hot, I just soaked inside for about 10 min then i came out from the bath tub.. I started to feel that my chest dun feel well and felt giddy.. Anyway, we had the best bed throughtout the whole journey.. The blanket and pillow is so damn puffy.. very nice..
