In the plane.. Welcome to Taiwan~ The first place that we visited right after we arrived at Taiwan is the Tamshui Fisherman's Wharf..It is Tamshui Historic Street, famous for 'Iron-eggs' and well-preserved buildings. It's also a filming site of the "Meteor Garden" and delight in enchanting views. But I cant recall.. maybe you all find it familiar if you watched that show before.. The white picture is the bridge picture.. Familiar? Can you see the sky it's already dark.. but you know what, it's only 5 plus in the evening.. The time is same as Singapore.. Then we went to Shi Lin.. A night market at Taipei.. It's is Taipei's largest night market where we really indulge in a huge varitey of local snacks. There's really alot of clothes stalls and food stalls.. A little like bugis street .. but it's much much more bigger.. Bought a perfume.. The perfume I long for.. The hugo boss Intense.. I bought the biggest bottle at only $62 .. Cheap rite! Went back to hotel after that.. Day 2 Woke up at 6 plus and set off by 8am.. Early rite.. I din even go out so early in Singapore.. Started our journey to discover Taiwan's untouched beauty at Yeilu Stone park. We found fantastic rock formations sculpted by nature.. With names that echo their shapes, such as Queen's Head and the Fairy Shoe.. Does this looks like a queen's head? Does the first stone looks like a hippo? And the 3 of us took a pic of the nice scenary.. It's cold there btw.. Next, we went to a place named Chuifen, the filming site of the film, 'Sad City' and a small, prosperous village with many shops selling famous local dishes and snacks. .. And we had our lunch over there.. Saw this condom shops.. All kinds of packaging of condoms also availiable in this shops.. The ones we are holding are the lollipops condoms.. haha I duno what's this, but it's look nice.. Isnt it? This is the cute little Halo Kitty slippers for kids.. very nice.. After that, we started our journey to Hua Lian.. It's a long journey man.. It took us 5 hours to reach there.. Travel along the East Coast Scenic Highway .. By the time we reached there it's already night time.. As i said before.. At around 5 plus.. The sky is already very dark.. Had our own shopping around our hotel.. Saw this, think this is to grind the beans into Soya bean drink..
I am Back from Taiwan!!
Day 1
Woke up very early at around 6 plus and get ready all the lugguages.. We had our breakfast at geylang because my dad needs to settle some of his stuffs before he leaves for taiwan.. Reached the airport at around 9 plus and get ready to check-in all our lugguages.. We reached Taiwan at around 4pm..
Over there, saw this lady grinding this big piece of peanut.. Special rite.. The powder foam of peanut is then put on top of the popiah like of skin.. Then you can choose to put ice cream on top.. It's very special.. Taste nice as well..
