The Forth Day..

Day 4

After breakfast, we head to Mei-nong, the hometown of paper umbrellas and Hakka culture.. In this town, steeped in history and culture, I saw many charming traditional houses..

Tried the Hakka Lei Cha.. Guess how it taste?

It's awful man...

Thereafter, we proceed to Fokuangshan, the 'Light of Buddha' Mountain.. We also had our lunch over there.. Over there, there's this 120m tall golden Buddha Amitabha statue which can be spotted from a distance with 480 standing Buddha statues, surrounded by flowing water and lush foliage..

Cool rite.. ??
Total of 480 standing Buddha statues.. but i never go and count lar..

At Fo Guang Shan..

Saw this before getting up the bus.. So cute.. hehe..

Move on to the Spring & Autumn Pavilions at Kaohsiung, which have 2 gigantic dragon and tiger statues.. It is believe that we have to go in from the dragon's mouth then come out from the tiger's mouth.. This can ward off the evils and bring us more luck..

Can see the dragon on your left and the tiger on your right?

Next, we were brought to this Pearl Culture Centre where pearls were sold there.. They told us that their pearls are grown in clean water but not the sea water.. And this can help the pearl to be better..

Keep pursuading us to buy.. Say it's good for our skin and health.. We din buy any of them.. Had seafood dinner along the Chi Jin Coastline and visit the Liuho Night Market.. Met my dad customers at Liuho night market.. It's pre-planned one.. not so coincidence .. Then his customer, Mr Goh and his sister, Ms Goh, brought us to another night market where more variety of clothes were sold over there.. They even bought a few piece of clothes for us.. So paiseh.. Anyway, it's very nice of them lar.. They took cab back together with us to our hotel.. Chill at the cafe in the hotel until about 11 plus then we bid goodbye..
